Oppo may be naming their next phone series “Enco” If trademark registrations are anything to go by. The application dropped on June 28, 2019, at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and is still under examination.
The company last month trademarked the OPPO Find Y moniker which it might use for its sequel to the Find X series with the naming of the flagship device of that series still a mystery.
OPPO also recently hinted that the Find X sequel might not happen until sometime in 2020. However, the brand’s VP, Brian Shen, revealed in a Weibo post that a new series of smartphones will launch in the second half of the year.
The trademark filing also compliments a patent filing for a foldable smartphone which sports a dual rear camera setup, a single camera on the front and the volume and powers buttons to the left.
