The Huawei P20 PRO will be announced on March 27 by Huawei along with Its standard version. Huawei Earlier today Huawei launched the P20 Lite as the Nova 3e in China and now, it’s making the P20 Lite official in Europe too.
You won’t have to until March 27 to get the full details since the specifications have been leaked in full detail per the efforts of WinFuture.
The leak detail a 40MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto sensor, and a 20MP sensor which captures monochrome images and create depth effects.It also allows zooming up to 5X Hybrid Zoom, Allowing better levels of magnification.
According to XDA Developers, the camera has the ability to shoot slow-motion footage in 720p at 960 frames per second along with the suspected 24MP camera on the front of the Huawei P20 Pro.
The screen is a 6.1 inch OLED panel with a 2240 x 1080 resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio with a notch as seen in the photos above and to the right courtesy of WinFuture.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a 7.65mm thick, weighs 174g and has a glass back and a metal frame. The Device doesn’t sport a 3.5mm headphone port. The Huawei P20 PRO much like the iPhone X is also IP67 dust and water resistance.The Fingerprint scanner is located just below the screen.
The device is powered by a Kirin 970 Octa-core chip which is the same chipset used by Huawei’s Huawei Mate 10 PRO device.The chip allows AI element known as a neural processing unit (NPU) which allows for things like automatic scene recognition when taking photos.
The devices pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for European markets with other regions with the potential for 64GB and 256 GB versions.
The devices also boast a 4000 mAh battery matched with Huawei’s SuperCharge tech which allows for super fast charging.

The device will be available in Ceramic Black, Midnight Blue and Twilight colours. Twilight being a colour which changes between purple and turquoise varying on how the light hits the device.
Huawei P20 Pro runs the Android 8.1 overlaid with the company’s EMUI 8.1 and will cost around 899 euros (around $1,110 USD, £790, AU$1,440).
