A Punch-hole phone design (a small area inside the screen is removed for the front-facing camera) is the next step in providing more screen real estate to users.

Smartphone makers such as HuaweiHonorMotorolaSamsung, and others are already invested in creating similarly designed devices and Nokia is no different.

If CAD file renders from @onleaks in partnership with 91mobiles are to be believed, The Nokia 8.1 Plus will be Nokia’s first punch hole based design phone.

The display will measure 6.22-inch in size, similar to the upcoming Motorola P40 that will also have the punch-hole display.

The device sports a cutout for a camera at the top-left, a headphone jack on the top, and a Type-C port for charging on the bottom.

The back of the device has a fingerprint sensor and an Android One logo covering its glass finish.

The Nokia 8.1 Plus has a really great look and manages to keep the headphone jack. There is no word on an official announcement date as to when and if this device will be released.
