Samsung has finally announced a date for their Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Launch. It is already known that the Galaxy Note 9 will be released on August 9. It was not known when we would be able to get our hands on the device.
There a Pre-release Poster sighted in a Korean retail shop making the rounds around the internet which notes “pre-order begins August 10” with a sale date of August 24 for Korea.
The poster also boasts incentives such as cases, car chargers, grip rings, power banks, wireless pads and other items. Samsung has confirmed vaguely that the device will be priced reasonably.
The Note 9 will be up for pre-order from August 14 and then go on sale in most global markets from August 24.
Samsung has partnered with Flipkart in the past to launch their Galaxy S8 Duo and S9 duo and continues that partnership with the Galaxy Note 9. The Online Retailer, Flipkart might be the exclusive rights holder to sell the Galaxy Note 9 in India.
The retailer has already published a dedicated page with the tag Galaxy Unpack for its Android, iOS apps and website. The section holds details of Galaxy pre-orders and rollout dates along with teaser videos from Samsung. Users can also sign up to receive notifications on the arrival and availability of the Galaxy Note 9.
Price has been leaked for Indonesia and Korea but not India. By the Info given by these leaks, however, The 512GB variant of the device should go on sale for around Rs.83,000/ $1,200. Global and local pricing should be confirmed come August 9 when the device goes official.
Samsung’s recent Q2 financial report which showed poor performance for Galaxy S9 sales. The sale of the Galaxy Note 9 would help to ensure better results for smartphone and tablets sales before the end of Q3.
